National Police Remembrance Day 2019

This year's National Police Remembrance Day march and service will be held in Melbourne on Sunday 29th September.

National Police Remembrance Day commemorates police officers from all Australian police services who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect the community.

The march in Melbourne will commence at Princes Bridge at 10.00 am and proceed down the St Kilda Road service lane to the Victoria Police Memorial.  A remembrance service will then be held at the Victoria Police memorial from 10.20 am to 11.20 am.

Services in other areas:-

The Central Victoria Police Remembrance Day service will be held at the Bendigo Town Hall, Hargreaves St, Bendigo on Sunday 29th September, 2019 at 10.00 am.  A light morning tea and refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the service.

At 11:00 am on Tuesday the 24th September, 2019 a Police Remembrance Day Service is being held at St Paul’s Cathedral, Cunninghame Street, Sale.

Victoria Police are running a bus to the service with pick-up points at Bairnsdale Police Station (departing 9.15 am) and Sale Police Station (departing 10.30 am).  The return ‘drop off’ journey, after the service – depart at 12.45 pm ish to allow a cuppa after the service.
