On Thursday 12th September, Police Legatee Greta Gill and her daughter Anne were honoured to attend a Victoria Police graduation, hosted by VPL Ambassador, Police Veteran Neville Taylor APM (Ret'd Commander), as special guests of Victoria Police.
It was great to hear that Reviewing Officer, and VPL Ambassador, Deputy Commissioner Ross Guenther APM, in his early years worked at Prahran Police Station and then the CIB, where Greta's husband Ron was his Chief Superintendent, whom he remembered well. Consequently, Ross gave a very genuine reference to Ron's police life during the graduation ceremony which made the afternoon even more special for Greta.
VPL are grateful for the opportunity to have Police Legatees attend many Victoria Police Graduations at the Victoria Police Academy in Glen Waverley throughout the year.
