Thanks to everyone that joined in the fun at our exciting fundraising trivia event on Saturday night at the Richmond Town Hall. A huge 'CONGRATULATIONS' to team "East Veterans" for taking out first place (plus bragging rights!).
The event saw VPL's Young Adult Police Legatees raise over $15,000 for their upcoming Cambodian humanitarian, personal development experience, of which will go towards a variety of projects including the construction of bio-sand filters to provide clean water to local villages, construction and installation of toilets and education-based projects including health and hygiene.
A huge 'THANKS' to all those who attended, donated and showed their support. Thanks also to host of the evening Glenn Ridge, and the many amazing businesses that supported the evening including TriviaOz, World of Difference, Village Cinemas, Lygon Cycles, City of Yarra, Bridge Road Traders Association, Richmond Rotary, Mantra Lorne, Novotel Melbourne On Collins, Stormy Lifejackets, Flight Centre Australia, Ebb & Flow: Vibrational Therapies, Dorset Golf, Western Bulldogs, Essendon Football Club, Chemist Warehouse, Hair by 2 Sisters, BIG4 Whitsundays Tropical Eco Resort, MK Auto, Oceana Airbnb and the many other amazing businesses that donated items that will be acknowledged with certificates of appreciation in due course.
