This morning 25 ‘Young Adult Police Legatees’ (18 to 25 years of age), accompanied by a number of VPL & Rotary Leaders, left Melbourne to travel to Cambodia for the next fortnight, on the second Victoria Police Legacy/Rotary ‘World of Difference’ Humanitarian Tour, to do work such as establishing ablutions facilities, build water filtration units and a number of other projects in Villages and Schools an hour or so out from the City of Siem Reap.
We are so proud of this amazing group who have fundraised in excess of $40,000, since May of this year, to fund the humanitarian work to be undertaken. Nine of the group were on the inaugural tour in 2023 and have decided to self fund and return to Cambodia to continue the amazing work they undertook last year! What an amazing group of 25 ‘Young Adult Police Legatees’!
